Private Factory in Kenya

February 2020 was a critical moment in the history of Misr for Engineering Works, marking Egypt’s first exporting project to Kenya relating to the industry.

Supporting Kenya with production facilities, Misr for Engineering Works provided one of the major plastic injection molding private factories with one 10-ton double girder EOT and two 2-ton single girder EOTs for their smooth and reliable handline, cost-effective implementation, and durable performance.

Private Factory for the Manufacturing of Plastic Pipes

In October 2020, Misr for Engineering Works supported the production facilities of one of Egypt’s and the Arab world’s leading companies for plastic pipes manufacturing.

Serving different sectors, the facilities provide top-notch products relating to water, sewage, irrigation, telephones, electricity, industrial work, and more.

Conforming to the Egyptian and international standards while providing quality excellence, Misr for Engineering Works’ 16-ton double girder was utilized to provide the maximum overhead room and due to its outstanding ability to handle heavy-duty applications for longer spans of time.

Private Factory for the Manufacturing of Glass

In November 2019, Misr for Engineering Works contributed to the production facilities of one of the top glass factories in Egypt.

Glass production is a very intricate process, with modern glass factories entailing three operations, including the batch house, hot end, and cold end. The batch house is a storage-like location housing the raw materials in silos, the hot end is where molten glass is manufactured into glass products, and the cold end is where the glass production is finalized.

Throughout the project, Misr for Engineering Works’ put its 5-ton double girder EOT into action for its effecting and convenience for lifting heavy loads with caution and care, making them ideal for the nature of glass.

Private Factory for Plastic Machinery Agencies

Plastic injection molding, plastic extrusion, plastic blow molding, and other plastic forming machines have a major significance in the B2B sector. In February 2018, Misr for Engineering Works supported the initiation of one of Egypt’s plastic industry machines’ agencies, who is currently an agent for one of China’s major and oldest manufacturers in the field of injection machines.

With the support of our 20-ton double girder EOT, the production facility is now running up to speed with the mother company’s global agents in Germany, Vietnam, India, Russia, Turkey, and more. Today, the facility has among the largest machines in Egypt, backed by a solid infrastructure.

Private Factory for the Production of Glass and Crystal

With the importance of glass processing on the rise for both interior and exterior design purposes, Misr for Engineering Works took part in setting in motion Egypt’s market leader in the field of glass manufacturing late 2017 in December.

Empowered by our 5-ton double girder EOT, the project successfully came to life and the factory is today one of the most innovative when it comes to glass processing techniques. Since the company’s strategy prioritizes product quality, integrity, and innovation, Misr for Engineering Works ensured delivering a project that ticks the same elements.

Private Factory for the Iron & Steel Industry

December 2017, in particular, witnessed the execution of one of Misr for Engineering Works’ largest projects with a leading iron and steel factory in Egypt.

Utilizing one 15-ton gantry crane and one 15-ton double girder EOT, we proudly supported the Private Factory for the Iron and Steel Industry in penetrating the steel industry in Egypt and empowering it to produce safe, high-quality products that conform to both local and international standards. With the support of our highly reliable suppliers and equipment, the factory continues to meet the increasing growth witnessed in domestic and international markets and the ever-increasing demand especially for exports.

Private Factory for Marketing Billboards

Towards the end of 2015, in November, Misr for Engineering Works executed a turnkey project of a marketing billboard factory from planning to completion, including the installation of the runway beam.

Specializing in high-quality visuals, mainly advertisements and signs, the factory spreads the word about businesses and services using custom signage.

Misr for Engineering Works ensured that the project was implemented precisely as envisioned from start to finish, providing high-end finishing with the support of its 12.5-ton double girder EOT and three 3-ton monorails that were the key elements of the project’s success.

Al-Qalaj Lifting Station

Al-Qalaj Lifting Station is one of Misr for Engineering Works’ sanitation projects, established to solve the water shortage crisis in a large number of villages in Al-Qalaj.

The station serves 400,000 citizens from different areas and the plant operates with a dynamic sand filter system that is the second largest station in the republic.

Misr for Engineering Works’ 8-ton double girder EOT worked its magic during the project, enabling it to operate as planned to date and producing 1450,000 cubic meters per day using the DynaSand filter technology from the city of Khanka and its villages.

New Capital Water Treatment Plan

With several projects in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital underway, Misr for Engineering Works was a constituent in one of the Capital’s main water supply projects in June 2020 involving the extension of three water lines, a water pumping station, and a water station feeding the capital.

Mainly, the New Capital water treatment plant project also involves desalination and wastewater treatment systems to serve the plant water demand of high purity, demineralized water needed for the HRSG feed and the 3 million people who will live in the city. Additionally, city water is supplied via a pipeline to feed the water treatment system.

During the project, Misr for Engineering Works applied its experience to develop advanced wastewater treatment networks merged with the support of three double-girder EOTS to ensure the adequate delivery of drinking water to the New Capital.

Matrouh Water Station

In February 2018, Misr for Engineering Works efficiently participated in putting an end to the acute problem the Matrouh Governorate has been facing with regard to the shortage of drinking water, particularly during the summer season.

The Matrouh Water Station project was a water treatment plan offering desalination of seawater in coastal cities, since the cost of purifying and transporting the Nile’s water to Matrouh (which was the initial solution) is more expensive than desalination. Presently, the production volume of the desalination plant can go up to 24 thousand cubic meters per day.

For the project, Misr for Engineering Works supplied two of its 5-ton single-girder EOT and three 2-ton monorail to successfully support the establishment of desalination plants in Marsa Matrouh city. Thankfully, that ended the problem of shortage. Today, the station provides 90 thousand cubic meters per day combined and perseveres even during the peak times of the summer season.
